Here we go into the great abyss of the blogosphere. A place of thoughts, ideas,
information, where everyone's opinion is "Just as important as everyone else'". A place where it been said that "Never before have so many, had the ability to so much, to so many, and still no one cares what you think ".
I have a lot of trepidation about doing this for all the obvious and not so obvious reasons. As Richard Pryor said Everybody in this world is entitled to two things; one is an opinion, the other,... well lets just say I'm not going to say out of those who may opt to actually read this, but, I will say that just like opinions, it usually stinks. I also have a great fear of being an embarrassment; not to myself, but to my God, Family or Country. I look at the commentators, pundits and all the other media editors who embarrass me with what they spew out. Seriously. What is the point of using risque or vulgar language to make your point?
I know it's going to make me sound like old flatulent but,... as a kid I remember being told that "If you have too use vulgarity to make your point then you show how ignorant you really are". I've tried doing video blogs and I just don't have the training or skill sets for such a task. I don't have the "Technical" nor "Communications" training for doing it well, so I guess I just stick with what I know for now and try and develop other "skill sets" as I go along.
Same thing holds true for what I write about. I'll just stick with what I know. So,... God will be spoken about here, Family too.... and country. I'll throw a little bit in about guns, current events and a bit of science and history here and there. So,... to quote the Master Chief at the end of Halo (still my most favorite game) as he's boarding the Long Sword fighter with Cortonna lodged in his battle helmet We'll make it. Here we go.
